The Rotary Club of Wellington South has committed up to $3,500 from the "Touch A Word" program to the PlaySense Activity Centre in Guelph for adaptive computer technology...

The "Touch A Word" program, funded by the Grate Groan-Up Spelling Bee, is an initiative of the Rotary Club of Wellington South designed to make available adaptive computer technology - hardware and software both - to organizations and individuals in need.

A committee of Rotarians will work with the PlaySense Activity Centre to come up with a schedule of adaptive computer hardware and software that we can contribute to, in order to provide the participants at the Centre with opportunities for learning and communication using this very special equipment.

An announcement regarding the donation will be made at the PlaySense 1st Anniversary Party being held on January 9th.

We are thrilled to be able to make this contribution to the PlaySense Activity Centre, continuing a Rotary tradition that started with the Rotary Centennial (2005) project by the 4 Guelph Rotary clubs that raised $118,000 for the PlaySense Activity Centre.
