A NEW NAME!

On January 25th a 2/3 majority of the members in attendance at the weekly meeting voted on a proposal to amend the name our Rotary club, from "Wellington South" to "Guelph South".....

This change will allow our club to appear in Rotary International listings with the other 3 Guelph clubs, instead of under "W" (for "Wellington") as is the case now. This will make it easier for visiting Rotarians, prospective members or other visitors to find us, so that they can join us at our weekly meetings.

We have submitted our formal request to our Area District Governor, Ken Boyd, for the name change; the change will then be submitted to Rotary International in order to complete the process.
