END POLIO NOW

A high priority for Rotarians is the eradication of Polio, a project that has been ongoing since 1985.  Rotary International partnered with the World Health Organization and UNICEF on this project, the largest of its type ever attempted.  And we're thisclose to worldwide eradication, with just 4 countries left (India, Pakistan, Nigeria & Afghanistan) where the virus is still active....this YouTube video by Bill Gates talks about the effort and his foundation's $255 million commitment to the effort.
