PAUL HARRIS FELLOW FRANK OUDESLUYS

Rotary Foundation Chair Thomas Newby surprised Frank with his Certificate and Pin, congratulating him on being the first club member to earn such recognition from Rotary International as a result of his support of the Rotary Foundation.

It was appropriate that Frank was honoured at the December 4th meeting, as it was at this same meeting that the Playsense Activity Centre was presented with a cheque for $7,600 representing 50% of the proceeds from the 2008 "Grate Groan-Up Spelling Bee".   Frank was the Chair for the 2008 event and his leadership helped the organizing team well exceed their target of $12,000.
