The Rotary Club of Guelph South has donated $1,500 to the Guelph Food Bank, and thanks to the "Kraft Hunger Challenge" our donation is being matched by Kraft Canada...

This year has been particularly hard on many. Recognizing the need in their community, Rotary Club of Guelph South presented a cheque donation on June 5 2009 to the Guelph Food Bank during the Kraft Hunger Challenge. In attendance were Rotarian Thomas Newby, Tracy Marchesich (Operations Manager of Guelph Food Bank) and Rotarian Paul Moran (Service Projects Chair).

From June 2 to June 12 Kraft Canada matched donations up to $150,000.00 nationally made to Canadian Food Banks. This donation from Rotary Club of Guelph South will go even further after the matching funds from Kraft.

Congratulations to the Service Projects Committee for identifying this unique and limited time opportunity to double our impact on our local community!
