Flag raising outside City Hall (no ceremony)

World Polio Day on October 24 each year is recognized in Guelph by Rotarians and the Mayor with speeches and a flag raising ceremony outside City Hall.  Due to the COVID-19 social gathering restrictions, the flag raising ceremony has been cancelled.  The flag will be raised on Wednesday, October 21 by a City staff member without spectators in attendance.
