Honourary Chair of the event this year is Don Drone, Director of Education for the Wellington Catholic District School Board.

We're pleased to welcome back Judge Jo Phenix (acclaimed author of educational books, including books on spelling for both teachers and students) and welcome new judge Paul Mlodzik, VP of Communications for Cooperators Insurance. Franlie Allen from the University of Guelph returns as our MsPronouncer.

Team recruitment is well underway and the 2007 Champion Spellers from John Calvin Christian School will be back and defend their hard-earned trophy.
