With help from our Rotary club members, as well as a monetary donation from the club itself, our Service Projects committee team was able to buy everything on the list of items provided for the 5 families that we "adopted" for this Christmas! These 5 families represented 8 adults and 15 children (age range: 6 to 18) who now will have a more joyful Christmas with these gifts.
The Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington runs the annual "Adopt-A-Family" Program that connects families who need support during the holiday season with donors who give the gift of hope and joy by shopping for tangible gifts and grocery-needs cards. Families are referred to the program by social-community agencies in Guelph and Wellington County.

With the jolly determination of their dedicated volunteers, staff, community workers, and donors, they bring hope and joy home for the holidays for children, youth, and families in the community!  Our Rotary Club has proudly supported this program, and adopted families at Christmas, since 2008.
