Rotary Club of Guelph South is so excited to formally announce the upcoming inaugural "Tour de Guelph" family-friendly bicycling event to take Sunday July 6th 2014 starting from and finishing at the University of Guelph.  This event is in support of The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital and the Rotary Clubs of Guelph South and Guelph Trillium, and is being jointly organized by the 3 groups.

For this inaugural event a minimum of 600 participants and volunteers of all ages are anticipated, all coming together in support of our community and healthy, active living.

A critical aspect of the event will be sponsorships, and there are many opportunities available, starting with any level of cash donation, in-kind sponsorships and recognized sponsorship levels from "Friend" ($300) to "Presenting" ($15,000).  Information on sponsorship opportunities and logistics of the day itself is being posted on the home page of our Club website as soon as it becomes available.

As well, this event is being held in memory of George Vettor, and some biographical information on this legend of the Guelph bicycling community is included in the "Site Pages" section of this website, under the "2014 Tour de Guelph" heading.

A copy of the Sponsorship Opportunities brochure is found in various places on the left hand side of this website:  in "Download Files", "Site Pages" and "Club Links" areas - please feel free to download the brochure, and to circulate it to anyone or any Company that you feel may appreciate the opportunity!  Please note the critical date of April 25th 2014 for confirming sponsor participation.
