The Rotary Club of Guelph-South is thrilled to announce the return of its much-anticipated "Brunch at the Arboretum" fundraiser, taking place on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Set amidst the scenic beauty of the University of Guelph Arboretum, this event promises to combine community spirit, a delectable buffet brunch, and an opportunity to make a significant difference for local charities.
Supporting Local Impact
This event is a cornerstone of the Club’s fundraising efforts, raising over $70,000 in 2024, including $53,500 from live auctions, which directly benefited five incredible charities—Royal City Mission, Hope House Guelph, Elora House, SEEDS Canada, and Olive Tree Projects. Each organization received essential funding to continue its vital work in homelessness prevention, food security, and community development.
Charities participating in this year’s event will have the opportunity to share their missions, connect with passionate supporters, and receive funding to further their causes from the ‘Fund A Need’ live auctions. The five partner charities this year are:
- Amarok Society Start with Mothers
- Guelph Wellington Women in Crisis
- Kidsability Guelph (Assistive Technology)
- Royal City Mission
- SEEDs
